We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a PERMANENT Finance
Administrator based in Stockton

Major Duties:
To accurately prepare the accounting ledgers, including sales and purchase
invoicing, project monitoring and analysis, timesheet processing and ad hoc
reporting.
To ensure timely and accurate processing and payment of purchase invoices.
To include preparation of fortnightly payment runs and all ad hoc payments,
monitoring of bank account and outstanding debtors.
To ensure the accurate and timely payment of a moving volume of contract
staff.
Responsible for a diverse range of finance administration and team support
duties.
Maintain an appreciation and up to date knowledge of financial systems,
policies and initiatives as required, enabling the provision of cover for
colleagues.
Provision of excellent customer service and positive promotion of the
Finance Department to internal and external customers and colleagues, in
line with changing business needs and finance strategies and requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum of GCSE/’O’ level standard Maths and English.
Relevant practical experience in an accounts position.
Experience of successfully working in and contributing to a workplace team
environment.
Knowledge of double-entry book keeping.
Confident in use and application of Microsoft Office – Word and Excel
packages to basic level.
