Manufacturing at Billingham takes place within three state-of-the-art biologics facilities and encompasses both clinical and commercial materials. Our Client is seeking an experienced, talented professional to join their Engineering team as they work towards best in class for engineering project delivery.

An exciting new opportunity has become available for Technician Engineer – Mechanical to become an integral part of our client’s continued expansion.  A key part of the mechanical technical team, you will ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, whilst also delivering technically assured engineering solutions to achieve world class reliability targets on our client’s UK manufacturing facilities.

You will have relevant experience in a mechanical trade preferably in a cGMP environment, with the ambition and drive to work towards further academic qualifications.  Experienced working on mechanical asset integrity for both static and rotating equipment, you will be part of a team responsible for implementing the mechanical reliability and maintenance requirements on cGMP facilities.  You will have strong technical standards, a keen eye for detail and experience of completing root cause failure analysis, with the ability to input into preventative/predictive maintenance plan is highly desirable.

The job holder will produce detailed technical scope of works and have a good working knowledge of SAP.  You will be the first line of support to the maintenance team and will be involved in fault finding and diagnosis of mechanical equipment issue or failures, the role also involves working with the planning and manufacturing teams, the ability to work in diverse teams to solve issues is highly desirable.  The ability to develop continuous improvement activities for mechanical equipment across the site is necessary.

You will have sound knowledge of technical engineering standards required to deliver in a cGMP environment, previous experience in these skills is highly desirable.
