Job: Process Engineer

One of our leading clients, based in Teesside is currently recruiting for a Process Engineer to be based in Teesside and to work in their Project Office.
The purpose of the role is to be part of a multi-disciplined engineering team delivering sustenance projects. The process engineer will own the process elements of projects and be expected to deliver process excellence on projects on which they are engaged through the whole project life cycle; from idea stage to CER approval, installation to commissioning and handover.
The successful candidate will be a process engineer with substantial practical experience which should include process engineering design, plant operations, commissioning and trouble shooting.
The successful candidate will ideally possess:
- Proven experience of leading process engineering input on projects of high value £3K-£3m
- Experience as a hazard study practitioner
- An appreciation of the HSE issues on a high hazard (COMAH) site
- Good communication and presentation skills
- An ability to work with all levels in the organisation
- A degree in Chemical Engineering and Chartered status
