We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Support Officer, working within the Children and Families Service for one of our Clients based in South Shields.

The role will provide a focused period of support to ensure that quality assurance and improvement activity in Children and Families Social Care (CFSC) is embedded in every day practice, and supporting ongoing improvement through an effective and well understood evidence base. The post holder will contribute to a legacy of improvement tools and approaches which are efficient and sustainable in the long term.

The successful candidate will hold an NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in related subject, with relevant experience of managing accurate records and information in order to support insight.  Experienced recording information and data entry, writing reports and/or commentary and communicating with a wide range of individuals and agencies with good computer and ICT skills with an ability to be creative

Ideally you will have a good working knowledge of the range of services available for children with pro-active and assertive communication skills, happy to engage with others in person, by phone and in written form.

Candidates are required to work flexible hours, evenings and weekends as required and be able to work extended hours during an inspection.
